New study option in International Marketing
Students can spend two semesters abroad on different continents
The Bachelor of Science in International Marketing at Business School Pforzheim will offer students a new study option as of next winter semester: students can choose whether to complete their mandatory year abroad at a single partner university and graduate with a double degree, or combine two semesters abroad at separate partner universities in different regions of the world.
So far, students spent their 4th and 5th semester abroad at a single partner university and earned two bachelor’s degrees: the degree from Pforzheim University (Bachelor of Science) and the degree from the foreign partner university, a so-called double degree. As of now, students have an alternative option to spent their academic year abroad at two separate partner universities: the first semester in Europe or North America, a second semester in Asia, Latin America or Africa. Students thus gain valuable experience in two cultures, which helps train them for careers in international marketing.
There is a wide choice of destinations in both options: 11 partner universities around the globe are available for the double degree option, and as many as 20 for the option to combine two semesters abroad including countries that are particularly popular with students, such as the USA, Brazil, Great Britain, Sweden, Korea or Hong Kong.
The Bachelor program of Business Administration/International Marketing comprises 7 semesters, including the year abroad and an internship semester. The program offers 40 seats per year. The application deadline is July 15. Courses begin in October.
